Mostly I try to be wary not to consume useless 'stuff' just for the sake of it.
But there are four weaknesses that always seem to stop me in my tracks and they are:
Books
Stationery (paper, journals, anything)
Clothes
and Tea/tea-related items
Drinking a cup of peppermint tea, with a good book, is one of the best parts of my day, especially lately since I spend a lot of time at home. Maybe this is a pathetic comment on how my days go but it's true. I like taking a tea break, waiting for the kettle to boil, letting it sit until it's a perfect temperature, enjoying the smell, the taste, the heat. It's awesome.
At risk of making this sound like one massive ad for T2 and Clipper teas, I really do love the colours/packaging/feel of the above pictures. The Clipper box packaging in particular is such a nice example of how illustration with a hand-drawn style and beautiful colours can make something stand out. I think I'd buy those boxes even if there was nothing in them.
(And if you're wondering, books take the cake for the weakness that I most often cave in for. I always seem to be able to justify buying them.)

I'm not sure if you remember me saying to you ages ago that there was a tea I found in Coles that has the most awesome packaging, and I was trying to remember the name.....? No?
I wouldn't be surprised, it was like 6 months ago!
But yes, it was Clippers.
The End.
I do remember you saying that. How weird. We're weird like that.
You were right of course, I do love it.
