Part of my illustration work for the book involves creating a map for the endpages. The kind that kids can explore over repeated readings and run their fingers over the roads and pathways; the kind I used to love when I was a kid.

I've been looking up illustrated maps for inspiration, and found a great site, They Draw & Travel, dedicated solely to artist's maps. Such an awesome idea, and anyone can upload a map from their travels. I wonder if they will accept my fictional map when I finish it?
