New illustration, using an old drawing I did of a Scandinavian boat.

I'm feeling really creative at the moment so I'm trying make the most of it before it wears off. Bought some new brushes today and one tube of a lovely burnt orange acrylic paint..I have always used Dad's paints and only just realised how expensive they are to buy!

Apparently Van Gogh would forgo meals so he could afford paint (according to my brother, who is a fairly reliable source on these matters). The only thing I might have to forgo is slapping on paint with a palette knife, using up whole tubes on one artwork..which is fine by me.

I agree.

I'm especially fond of the colours used!

P.S- was thinking of maybe doing a Movember print, what are your creative thoughts?
