Alyosha, Dmitri and Ivan.

I don't think I have ever enjoyed making an illustration as much as I enjoyed making this one. 

It was so fun researching Russian folk art and pictures of old churches and samovars, just for inspiration. 

I am really happy with the outcome, and I think I will make a few more book-inspired prints. 

Any ideas? Any books that you think could be the basis for an interesting illustration? 

Or just a great book??

  Of course I should mention that the illustration is dedicated to Ryanov Frazeyenovich, who introduced me to the book, and many other incredible reads, and makes reading in general much more enjoyable by teaching me about lots of interesting stuff.
