"People have a hard time letting go of their suffering. Out of a fear of the unknown, they prefer suffering that is familiar."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

This is so true for me. I am well overdue to change some habits of thinking that have been holding me back from love.

It is going to be hugely difficult, but it could not be more necessary.

We're funny little creatures aren't we? Preferring the familiar suffering to seeking the potential of divine ecstasy wrapped in what can only be human - of what could only be living life. How true that we regress into living in nostalgic pain. It's like we're constantly deciding on whether or not to truly live. I needed to see this post today. Thanks!

ps. Glad to see you're on bloglovin' again...way easier for me to keep track of your posts!

Exactly, "it's like we're constantly deciding on whether or not to truly live"- so true, you put it perfectly.

We are funny creatures :) It's funny how we think things outside of ourselves are causing us pain, or situations we are in, when so often it's just the way we are thinking about it (and resisting it) that is creating suffering.

Actually, after our walk/talk the other day I realised that my worries and my over-analysing (haha) all seems to come down to one thing: fear. So thanks Loz, for helping me to figure out something about myself that hopefully I can work on changing :)

All in all it was awesome getting to chat, drink juice/mocha and admire the ocean with you (and we definitely need to do it again soon) xx
