Some recent bird-inspired illustrations. The first one was an attempt at drawing a bird we saw while climbing Pigeonhouse mountain. Being the nerdy bird-watcher that I am (becoming), I searched for it on Birds in Backyards as soon as I got home. Apparently it is called an Eastern Yellow Robin. They are actually more grey than blue (and more in proportion too..) but I got kind of carried away with the paints.
