It's so easy to only see the tiny blemishes in your life rather than the huge expanses of goodness, love and beauty around you. [ I know I will soon forget this feeling of perfect wholeness and gratitude, but hopefully it is something I will continually return to, and never stop seeking. ]

Hello, unfortunately I have no idea what kind of plant it is, it belongs to my friend! It is definitely a type of succulent, although I've never seen this particular kind before. Sorry that doesn't really help!
