what I saw when I lay on the ground and looked up.

Days off are the greatest. Especially when you have the house to yourself. And live in a beautiful place, where it happens to be sunny. And can spend the most part of the day eating, reading, drinking tea, doing yoga, enjoying the feeling of warm pavers under your feet and looking at the sky.

Sometimes I tend towards thinking I should fill my days off with more work, because that's what you're 'supposed' to do. I've realised now though that having a day or two of space and rest is something I really value and almost need, in order to not feel overwhelmed with everything. I can't remember who said it, but I like the saying: "Time is not money. You can always make more money, you can never make more time." Thoreau said a (kind of) similar thing that I also like: "The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it."

(I hope your day was lovely too.)
