At the end of 2008 I went to Cambodia for a month to volunteer in a children's home with some friends from my local area. The group leader, Sarah, is going back at the end of the year and held a fundraiser on Friday night to raise some money for the kids. It was a really lovely night, with so much support from our 'village' to theirs. We ate yummy cakes and slices, had a little op-shop stall and listened to live music. In the end she raised $2200 which will go a very long way over there!
