At a garage sale recently I picked up a 1977 "Fabulous Facts" kids book about Our Earth for 20c. There are really bad drawings of volcanoes erupting and floods swallowing up cities. Not to mention some awesome outdated scientific diagrams of the Earth in relation to an apple core.

While I was attempting to clean out my room yesterday in a post-uni bout of organisation I almost threw it away before (luckily) realising that some of the images were pretty amazing.

I set on them with some watercolour brushes and I think it's possibly the best 20c I ever spent.
